2022

YEAR IN REVIEW

Renovus had an active and productive year in 2022, making new platform and add-on investments, completing two significant exits, building the team and launching new strategic initiatives.

We have achieved our progress through the committed work of our team of 22 professionals, many of whom joined us this past year. Our team growth is a result of a multi-year effort to build our investment, business development, and finance teams at the junior through senior levels. Entering 2023, we are most focused on recruiting a talented investor relations professional, and would welcome your referrals.

Our 2022 activities are summarized below. We are looking forward to 2023 as we anticipate it will shape up to be a challenging yet successful year.

Firm Updates

Expanded Office Space

Renovus added 2,200 sf in its office to accommodate team growth.

New Website

In April, Renovus launched a new website with the latest features and functionality.

Firm Offsite

The Renovus team escaped for three days to discuss the Partners’ future vision for the firm, with some breaks for fun activities like hiking!

Annual Meeting

In October, Renovus held its annual meeting. It was great to see investors and friends of the firm in person for the first time in two years.

HEC Dow Jones Feature⁽¹⁾

Renovus was ranked #3 in a study of global lower mid-market PE managers by HEC Paris Dow Jones as published on April 26, 2022.

⁽¹⁾HEC Paris-Dow Jones ranked firms based on data compiled from Preqin or directly from PE firms for activity from 2008-2017. Rankings based on proprietary methodology that calculates aggregate performance of a PE firm across vintage years and considers relative and absolute returns. Renovus Capital Partners did not provide any compensation to HEC Paris-Dow Jones or Prequin to be included or ranked in the study.

Impact Initiatives

Renovus launched partnerships with Novata and ImpactableX to further its work in this space.

New Platform Investments

Renovus invested $141 million in seven new platform investments.

Case Works is a leading provider of tech-enabled litigation support solutions to the country’s premier plaintiff law firms. Based in Austin, Texas, the Company was created with a single mission: To Help Lawyers Help People. Case Works provides a full suite of case management services including claims qualification, intake, medical records retrieval & review, case development, and ongoing plaintiff engagement.

Renovus continues to evaluate new platform and add-on acquisition targets as well as successful exits in a challenging market environment. We are exploring several new initiatives and constantly evolving our long-term strategic plan for the firm.
